Cats Disguised as Dogs or Dogs Disguised as Cats
PRONAC 248057
FUNDRAISING AMOUNT: R$ 341,000.00
EXECUTION SCHEDULE: 7 months
CATS DISGUISED AS DOGS OR DOGS DISGUISED AS CATS is the new play with executive and artistic production by HUMANIZE PRODUÇÕES and is suitable for all audiences. The latest production has original text and music and a team that has won many awards in children's and youth theater in recent years. The project has the federal law for cultural incentives endorsement under PRONAC nº 248057.
The project will bring to the stage a new show that arises from the following questions:
Do we need to shape ourselves to be accepted?
Do we need to train to be a better version of ourselves?
Do we need to learn to understand our feelings?
These are serious questions that are difficult to answer; however, these issues have been present since childhood. The importance of working on the emotional education of children and young people has been consolidated in countless studies and publications, so much so that this subject (emotional education, emotional intelligence, life intelligence) is present in schools. For this new project, Humanize Produções has assembled a true dream team, composed of award-winning artists and names of the greatest competence in São Paulo theater.
The project supports the following SDGs:
KIKO MARQUES, responsible for the direction and dramaturgy, has won several awards such as Shell and APCA. “É tudo família”, the last show for children he directed, received the APCA 2019 for Best Children's and Youth Show with an adapted text and the São Paulo Prize for Incentive to Children's and Youth Theater in the categories Best Children's Show and Best Authorship of an Adapted Text.
TÁBATA MAKOWSKI, who was responsible for the dramaturgy of ‘É tudo família’, will be co-responsible for the dramaturgy of this project.
MARISA BENTIVEGNA will be responsible for the creation of the set design and lighting, and is one of the most awarded artists in Brazil. Marisa won the São Paulo Prize in 2017 for the set design of three shows that year.
BRUNO MENEGATTI, a renowned multi-artist and musician, is in charge of creating the original soundtrack.
MÁRCIO ARAUJO designs the costumes and props.
Floresta dos Mistérios
Approved by the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture, the project Caravana Floresta dos Mistérios is taking the FLORESTA DOS MISTÉRIOS theater show to 4 state capitals around Brazil. This family musical adventure with puppets and actors promotes the valorization and representation of disabled people in a triumphant and paradigm-free context. Written and directed by Márcio Araújo, its original musical score was created in partnership with Tato Fischer.
The show features live music, audio-description, translation to Brazilian Sign Language (BSL), and is presented in fully-accessible theaters to ensure its inclusiveness.
The project also includes the show FLORESTA MUSICAL, which will present the musical score live, with musicians and puppets, in public schools of 3 mid-sized cities in the state of São Paulo, as well as the SMALL GUIDE TO THE EMPATHY OF THE FLORESTA DOS MISTÉRIOS training for the educators.
3 meetings/lectures with public educators will take place aiming to guide Inclusion and Accessibility in educational and art-educational plans.
They will use the Small Empathy Guide as a tool as well as pedagogical material and playful activities that were developed especially for the project, and are also available to the public on the project's website.
The virtual pedagogical support material created for educators — be they parents, teachers or guardians — will be printed in booklet form, as a resource for issues of inclusion and accessibility in schools or domestic environments, associating the activities to the related themes addressed in the show in a playful way..
The project contributes towards the following SDGs:
Exhibition Vasto Mundo
PROAC SP
“...Photography: a weapon of love, justice, and knowledge, traveling through the seven corners of the world, surprising the stormy life of man and hope to emerge from the ashes...”
THE CONCEPT: The inspiration for the book Vasto Mundo came from the work and thoughts of the poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, which through this project unfolds into a rich exhibition of the same name.
The Vasto Mundo Exhibition was created to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, celebrated in 2022 – the year in which the centenary of the Semana de Arte Moderna is also celebrated. It is a timeless dialogue that flows between the gaze of photographer Adriano Fagundes and the writings of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, poetry and photography complementing each other in perfect harmony.
An interactive, immersive, and accessible exhibition will feature a selection of at least 30 related images and poems, some of which will feature augmented reality resources; In addition to integrating relevant objects from the collection of Carlos Drummond de Andrade's family - such as the telephones used by CDA that received intervention from the robotics team at Unifei in Itabira - the Drummonsters, and audios with the voice of the poet and guests reading his verses.
The exhibition features augmented reality resources, which will allow visitors to share unique, inclusive, and immersive experiences, becoming a differentiated component for both learning and engaging audiences of all generations. Through the development of an application and markers in the photographs, this innovative resource will allow visitors to stop being mere observers and become part of this visual narrative, in an evolution of the logic of storytelling to storyliving.
Based on extensive research carried out by Pedro Augusto Graña Drummond – illustrator, visual artist, set designer, grandson, and curator of the work of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, along with his brother Luís Maurício, and the award-winning photographer Adriano Fagundes for the book Vasto Mundo; the project for the exhibition is conceived in a modern, innovative, image-based and inclusive way, to approach the work of Carlos Drummond de Andrade to all generations.
Paisagens Gastronômicas
PROAC ICMS SP
European Community Funds
THE CONCEPT Where does the food we eat come from?
Who produces it and what are the processes used to guarantee the quality of the food that reaches the tables of homes and restaurants?
The understanding of food as culture and as an essential element in people’s identities was essential in defining the scope of the research for Paisagens Gastronômicas.
Regional diversity and the resulting endogenous products, terroir quality, and process innovation are among the criteria used in the selection of relevant production initiatives.
The Paisagens Gastronômicas project documents some of the emerging foods, scenarios, processes, and individuals that are leading a cultural change towards healthy and sustainable small-scale production. As a result of journeys through farms, estates, agroforests, fishing villages, and urban gardens, the project portrays the inspiring stories of producers who work so hard for the quality of the food we buy in markets, eat in restaurants, and put on our tables.
Through the adoption of these criteria and the actions resulting from the project, it contributes towards the following SDGs:
The following activities are currently under development: Paisagens Gastronômicas Portugal edition, the photographic Exhibition Paisagens Gastronômicas São Paulo, the Paisagens Gastronômicas Tourist Routes operation in partnership with Donato Viagens and the thematic dinners with guest chefs.
